Raised and educated in Picton. Taught school in "The County" and in Peterborough. Was an Educational Consultant and Co-coordinator of Audio-visual and Media Services for a number of Ontario School Boards and a Community College. Previously co-owner of a national educational film distribution company.

Obtained a real estate licence in 1977 and a Broker's licence in 1978 and has served the real estate needs of "The County" residents ever since. Certified as a "Real Estate Planner."
